More proof that Brian LIES!!!

This is a site from Brian Schwertley's own home page. It shows that Brian is a liar and a deceiver. Why does he not tell the truth? Is it because he wants others to think he has done nothing wrong?

Below is a biographical sketch from his own web site. If you look closely you will notice that he makes absolutely no reference of ever being part of the Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church. Brian was one of a few ministerial candidates back in 2004. He did receive a call from the Covenanted Reformed Presbyterian Church of Manawa, WI, in June of 2004 and was examined later that month by presbytery. In August, 2004, Brian was installed as the new pastor. Pastor Frank Smith of Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church of Sheybogan, WI,  performed the installation at a special service that was well attended with over 100 people from different CRPC Congregations and from the local Community. Even a local paper printed the notice of his coming and installation.

So why then does Brian, on his own web site, in his own biographical sketch, instead make the claim that he was, " installed as the pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Waupaca County, WI (Westminster Presbyterian Church in the United States) in August 2004."? There was no such church in existence at that time!

What happened to the 18 months that preceeded the actual pull out from the Covenant Reformed Presbyterain Church in January of 2006? Was there no history of The Covenanted Reformed Presbyterian Church of Manawa, WI, from June, 2004, until January, 2006? Is it his pastoral record that he wants us to forget?

We believe that this kind of twisting of historical matters, is yet one more proof that shows his clever deceptions, and further supports other claims that we have set forth regarding his character and fitness for pastoral ministry.

Rev. Schwertley is a 1984 graduate of Reformed Episcopal Seminary, Philadelphia, PA, with a Master of Divinity. Beginning in 1995 he served as Associate Pastor-elect for Church Planting at the Southfield Reformed Presbyterian Church in Southfield, MI (Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America) and was ordained as Teaching Elder by the Great Lakes-Gulf Presbytery of the RPCNA in 1996. He labored as a church planter in the Reformation Fellowship (RPCNA) Mission Church, Lansing, MI, from 1995-2000. During this time he started several local outreaches: Reformation Campus Ministries (MSU), Reformation Forum Cable TV Program, and Bible studies in East Lansing, Hartland, Ypsilanti, and Grand Rapids. He has been a guest preacher at over a dozen RPCNA and other reformed churches across the country. Pastor Schwertley has also been a featured speaker at The Puritan Project Conference in Brazil in June 2001, Greenville Seminary Worship Conference (Debate on Exclusive Psalmody) in Greenville, SC in March 2003 and RPCUS Family Conference (Establishing a Christian Home) in Bluefield, VA in June 2003 and June 2004 (Christian Self-Control). Pastor Schwertley was received as a teaching elder in the Reformed Presbyterian Church in the United States in January 2001 and was the organizing pastor of  Chalcedon Christian Church in Haslett, MI. Rev. Schwertley was installed as the pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Waupaca County, WI (Westminster Presbyterian Church in the United States) in August 2004.

Brian has authored a number of scholarly books and monographs and has been published in The Christian Statesman, The Homeschool Digest, Semper Reformanda, Chalcedon Report, The Puritan Journal of Brazil, The New Southern Presbyterian Review and The Counsel of Chalcedon. Pastor Schwertley's works have been translated into several languages including Portuguese, German, Italian, Danish and Swedish, and are being used by churches around the world. Brian, has now updated his site, to show that he was in the CRPC.  However, it shows that Brian's intent was to hide the facts.  Can anyone trust a Minister that will distort the facts?
