then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by
us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God."
2 Corinthians
5:20
"In response to your letter about our meeting, I have the following to
say:
A. Your letter is full of untruths and gross inaccuracies.
Perhaps your
thinking ability has been affected by the stroke you had in
the recent past.
B. You are not a member of this church. In fact, for a number
of years you
have not been a member of, nor under the authority of, any
church. I urge
you to find a good reformed church and place yourself under
godly authority
as commanded by Scripture.
C. It is the assessment of the elders and also of others who
know you that
you are able to work in some capacity. 2 Thess. 3:10 "For
even when we were
with you, this we command you that if any would not work,
neither should he
eat."
D. Further, it is has been reported that you have been
gossiping and
attempting to disturb the peace of this church. 2 Thess.
3:11-12 "For we
hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly,
working not at all
but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and
exhort by our
Lord Jesus Christ, that with quiteness they work, and eat
their own bread."
E. You need to repent, and until you do, I ask that you
refrain from
speaking to my family or others in the church.
